Course Title:	Infection Control Training
Duration & Mode of Delivery:	1.5 hours face-to-face training.
Delivery location	On-Site Training.
Minimum Age Requirement:	14 Years.

Course Content

The course will provide students with skills and knowledge in the following areas:

Standard precautions
Additional precautions
Aspects of infectious diseases including opportunistic organisms & pathogens
Basic microbiology
Disease transmission
Effective hand hygiene
Good personal hygiene practice
Surface cleaning
Sharps handling and disposal techniques
Identification and management of infectious risks in the workplace
