Course Title:Dementia Training

Minimum Age Requirement: 14 Years.

The course will provide students with skills and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Pathology of dementia
  • Risk factors of dementia
  • Symptoms of dementia
  • Diagnosis of dementia
  • Stages of dementia and focusing support
  • Management of dementia – medical and non-pharmacological therapies
  • Living with dementia
  • Effective Communication
  • Activities for Engagement
